Some nifty thrifty fish coasters, Kim found for me at St. Vinnie's. I call them Surf & Turf

This 1/3 section of a rattan screen had that certain je nais se quoi when I saw it top sticking up at a junk store. Adding some rich purple paint, over the door hangers and some drapery hooks to hang baubles from, makes a lovely over the door jewelry organizer.
This chair seemed like an easy fix since the seat was in mint condition, but what color for the frame? After trying, aqua, purple, silver, white, forest green and black.....this tropical shade of teal was what I had been searching for. I love the mod design.
Ahh, black velvet art. Overlooked by most, but after flipping over these fuzzy pictures and attaching a split art image, I glazed the frames and made them vertical instead of horizontal...you would never guess their origins.
A 3 part caddy, maybe once used for relish, ketchup and mustard, makes a nicer desk accessory for clips, bands and such.I hope to do another one of these multiple re do posts before next week...otherwise I will find a way to show you all ALL of the completed projects. Although I feel I am really pretty prepared for next Saturday, I am starting to get a little nervous. I know it was the purpose of it all, but sticking myself out there for everyone to see my vision makes me feel...well, a little vulnerable.

Holy cow, you've been busy! That ratan section is a gorgeous find, and I love what you did with the caddy! It reminds me of an ice cream cone holder in a retro soda fountain shop.
You made it all look amazing! I found another fish at St vinnies in Sheboygan this week and thought of you! You are super talented Beth!
