magazine make-over

Sometimes a good coat or two of paint is all you need to give a new life to an old object.

I found her at a local thrift collecting dust. This metal magazine rack was in excellent shape and had great lines...just needed a little brightening up. All that great detail was just getting lost in that dark color.

After getting it home, I discovered that the stand and the divider separated into 2 pieces, which made it quite easy to create a dual color palette. I choose aqua and chartreuse...very mod.
