You already saw the first re-imagined picture I did for the show at Hatch Art House, well since 3 seems to be the theme of this show, I had 2 more to share.
First. Trois Chats-
Too kooky to not pass up
this trio got a cool coral frame
some turquoise eyes
some glittered coats (all in an unique color)
and for whiskers, old retail tag ties.
the other, Peony Power, is a fabric picture.
Snagged at an estate sale, this washed out drawing needed some love.
Bright green and primary yellow trimmed in an old rope
while lush pink peonies and coarse floral greens make this one POP.
OH- and this is a fun twist. In the past, I have used framing grade dust paper to finish the back of the pieces. But, this time I added one more recycled twist.
An old map for the kitties
and a great vintage sheet for the peonies.
Fun, right? Like a little extension of the re-cycled art itself.
Both pieces are currently for sale at Hatch. Peony Power is $75 and Trois Chats is $105. C'mon back tomorrow for more pieces from the show.
